Video: Sarkodie opens up on why he “Adviced” Shatta Wale

Sarkodie has opened up to why he did a diss song titled ‘My Advice’ to Shatta Wale.

“My Advice” is a song full of heavy punch lines directed to dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.

The song was made as a reply to Shatta’s frequent diss remarks made on the rapper through his reign album launch journey.
The diss track gathered numerous responses on social media as many piled commendations on Sarkodie for stopping Shatta Wale in daily rants.

In an interview on Starr FM, Sarkodie revealed that Shatta Wale made insolent remarks about him on social media instead of calling him to speak to the issue.

“If he is a friend that you keep in touch with all the time and he keeps passing comments on social media all in the name of showbiz, how would you feel?”

“I get it. It’s showbiz but we have a friendship to keep. As much as I would want to do showbiz, there are some things that I would like to call you personally and resolve” he said
