Video: Actor Yaw Dabo and Sarkodie finally meet to settle their issues after ‘Gboza’ video

Last year, Yaw Dabo made a disclosure on how much Sarkodie paid him ‘only’ a GHC1,000 after featuring in his ‘Gboza’ music video.

Yaw detailed that GHC1,000 is an amount he does not accept for shooting music videos because he normally charges about GH10,000 cedis when he shoots videos to a song for any musical act.

However, in the case of Sarkodie, he decided to make do with the GH1,000 cedis he was given by the director (Prince Dovlo) because he admires the rapper so much.

He however got angry after realizing how ungrateful Sarkodie was to him for not at least phoning him to say thank you.

His revelation made many haters of Sarkodie as well as some concerned citizens to label the most decorated rapper in the history of Ghana as ‘stingy’.

In an interview on the latest episode of the ‘Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix’ show, Yaw stated that Sarkodie got in touch with him to look for an amicable solution to his problem few days after the story went viral.

The ‘Ewiase Ben Nie’ actor further heaped praise on the award-winning rapper. He made the point that Sarkodie knows what he is about musically and is certainly one of the most reasonable and wise people in the Ghanaian music industry because the manner he approached him after the news broke is something he didn’t actually expect.
