“These are bad times but i can’t leave NAM 1 and Zylofon media” – Kumi Guitar

Kumi Guitar has revealed that the record label has been so good to him that despite the hullabaloos surrounding the label’s sister company, Menzgold, he will not leave.

The ‘I have a dream’ hitmaker believes he is an integral part of the record label, for which reason he will stay regardless.

“Oh no, I can’t leave…for me, I always say I’m Zylofon,” he told Winston Amoah on 3FM’s morning show, Sunrise.

Kumi Guitar noted that even though there are media reports that some of his colleagues have left the record label, he will not leave because they are different people with different aspirations.

“We’re different people, we have different dreams,” he stressed.

The reports last year suggested that gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing, who was also signed to the label, had left.

Kumi Guitar, born Nana Yaw Kumi, explained that one thing may work differently for different people, depending on the individuals but not necessarily because the thing is bad, noting Zylofon Media has been good to him.
