“The country needs event centers not a national Cathedral” – Abeiku Santana

Abeiku  Santana, a broadcaster and Presenter  has called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to channel resources to construct event centers rather than a Cathedral in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo intends to establish a National Cathedral in Accra to serve as a spiritual center for believers in the country.

Abeiku Santana, in an interview with Sammy Kay media, expressed dissenting views on the President’s vision explaining that building event centers will enhance the progress of the nation because “an event employs different category of people like musicians, bloggers, make-up artists, light and stage technicians, DJs, Presenters, producers, decorators, etc; hence providing event centres will boost the creative industry as well as create jobs”.
