The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has asked the public to note that from Thursday February 28, 2019, the Passport Office and the Regional Passport Application Centers will cease to accept the old manual passport application forms.

According to a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency and signed by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry, the forms were the ones obtained from selected banks upon payment.

It explained that the Ministry’s initiative to migrate from the old manual passport application form to the new downloadable passport application form since November 2018, called for payment of the passport application processing fee to be done electronically.
