Nothing wrong with “Ghana is a village” comment by shatta wale – Tourism Minister

Tourism Minister for Ghana, Hon. Catherine Afeku has defended comments made by Shatta Wale that ‘Ghana is a village’.

According to her, what the Dancehall musician said is a wakeup call.

She noted that she watched Shatta Wale’s London Concert Live so she saw what led to him saying “Ghana is a Village”

And that Shatta didn’t mean to degrade Ghana but rather call on Ghanaians living abroad to come back home and help develop the country.
