“Need other income streams to cushion you; music alone can sustain you in Ghana”- Okyeame Kwame

Okyeame Kwame aka the Rap Doctor has advised his colleagues in the music industry not to put all their eggs in one basket.

He advises colleagues in the music industry to have other streams of income that will secure their live forever.

Speaking on Adom FM, Rap Doctor said because the royalty system does not pay in Ghana, “musicians can’t rely solely on music for the livelihood.”

“Elsewhere, if you produce one music, you get a lot from royalties but the case is different in Ghana. That is why you need other income streams to cushion you,” he said.
