J. Debrobie features Jamaican dancehall superstar and unruly boss Popcaan on poverty remix

Jamaican dancehall superstar and unruly boss Popcaan, is done recording the much anticipated remix to J.Derobie Poverty song which is one of the biggest dancehall tune in the world at the moment.

After the Ghanaian super talented young dancehall deejay, J.Derobie created bars on the internet and spots around Africa, J Derobie was mentioned in a tweet by the Unruly boss’s timeline.

Popcaan took to Twitter and wrote: “dancehall artist from ghana”

In November 2018, Nigerian musician and originator of “Banku Music”, Mr Eazi, announced “EMPAWA 100” initiative in search of brilliant and talented underground acts. He through “EMPAWA Africa”, was to fund music videos by talented musicians to a tune of $3000 each.

J Derobie was amongst the many talented acts across Africa who partook in the challenge across social media.

His song “Poverty” was picked and the video has since been shot as promised and is still topping charts.
