Hollywood actor Michael Jai White has been enstooled as Chief in Akwamu in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
The actor received the name of Nana Akoto III, and the stool title of ‘Odupong’ meaning “a tree firmly rooted” at the Bogyawe Palace, Akwamufie.
The ceremony held on Wednesday which also saw Bozoma Saint James conferred with a similar title.
The festival was presided over by The Office of His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo and presented by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Business Development and the Office of Diaspora Affairs.
