Entertainment chief of Tamale(Dema Naa) finally laid to rest

The Entertainment Chief of the Dakpema Palace, Mohammed Hafiz (Dema Naa), He passed away, Saturday, November 17, 2018, after a short ailment at the Habana Hospital in Tamale.

A report says, the late Demanaa died as a result of heart failure after attending the coronation of his grandfather. He was laid to rest at the Zujung cemetery in accordance with the tenets of islam.

Many have described the late Dema Naa as a kindhearted, Passionate, Selfless, Supportive, affable and above all credible team player everywhere he goes.

The late Mohammed Hafiz, Dema Naa, has been instrumental in the organization of several activities and programs with the Northern region including cultural activities and festival.

He played a critical role as the leader of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly’s Task-force spearheading the City’s decongestion exercise and several projects in Dagbon.

The Ex- British Soldier, in his return from the United Kingdom (UK) devoted the better part of his life trying to change and project the positive side of his native region. Mr. Hafiz after his enskinment by the late Naa Dakpema Mohammed Dawuni Alhassan as the Chief of entertainment on August 09, 2009 reinvigorated the entertainment industry in Tamale.

Many have described his death as a big blow to the Northern region and is not possible to replace the late Demanaa, with any other. The late chief left behind a wife and three children.
